Do you ever get butterflies in your stomach when you see something special for the first time? Or, that crazy feeling when you want something so bad that your heart beat steps up a notch? That's how I've been feeling about all the beautiful furniture I have come across lately.
I don't know if it's because we've just moved house and we have all this space to fill, or perhaps that I am no longer student and so have a little more to money to play around with... Whatever the reason, as soon as I saw this cabinet I had one of those moments. And as I read a little about the collection it is featured in, by Swedish designer Lisa Hilland, my heart began to fly.
You see the collection is called My Granddaughter's Cabinet, which if not already sweet enough, is based on the idea that the pieces will be passed on from one generation to the next. I find this such a simple and resounding idea.
