How cool is this blue and yellow 'monster' party, planned and styled by the super talented Carrie of Stationery Scoop. Carrie based the party on an Inspiration Board collated by Becca at The Birthday Girl. Given that Inspiration Boards are one of the ideas that I have been toying with doing for my new venture Luminoso Blu, it's great to see a real one in action.
Carrie doesn't claim to have drawn her inspiration from some of the party greats, including Amy Atlas, The TomKat Studio and Party Perfect and it really shows! I love that she's used flower pots for a boys birthday and it works, the hand made monsters as favors, and the happy feeling that you get just from looking at that yellow and blue combo. It's perfect!
Why not pop on over to the Stationery Scoop for more party details, and while you're there check out some of Carrie's other work. I particularly love her personalised placemats
