With a few minutes to kill, I stopped into a Swarovski store while waiting for a friend, and ended up having to root myself out of there before I bought something impulsively! The object of my attention was this unbelieveably sparkly Nirvana ring; the very friendly saleswoman offered to let me slip onto my finger and right then, I was sold. Nicely hefty (since it's encircled with faceted crystal), this ring is sparkly, but in a way that is clearly "cocktail ring chic" not "I'm wearing a 15 carat rock". It flattered even my unmanicured hand -- plus, it comes in an array of colors -- but I'm feeling this black diamond one. I might have to succumb to this temptation... It's $220.00 from Swarovski.
