I understand a channel devoted to food or travel, but I'm skeptical about an all-wedding network. Especially given the types of shows that are made about wedding planning. I watched an episode of Bridezillas once and it gave me a stomach ache, so I'm shocked to learn that the show is in it's sixth season.
If you haven't seen it, Bridezillas is a reality show that follows one couple through their wedding plans. The episode that I saw featured a bride who lined up all of her friends/bridesmaids and barked orders at them like General Patton. Like I said, stomach ache.
Hopefully the channel won't be a showcase of insane women who are planning a wedding. This article says that they will also have shows called Amazing Wedding Cakes, My Fair Wedding and Platinum Weddings. I've never heard of them, but I'm always a fan of the shows about cake! I assume the others feature really high-budget weddings.
Hopefully as the channel ages they'll also include some shows for people who are on a more down-to-earth budget, or maybe even a show about, you know, love.
