I really appreciate everyone taking the time to fill out the reader satisfaction survey for me. I got 50 responses and I really appreciate every single one of them. It really helped me get a grasp on my readers wanted to see from the blog.
Since you spent your time doing the survey, I wanted to provide you with some of the results.
The majority of people said they wanted to see more DIY projects and Real Weddings. 91% also said they loved the new Make It Yourself Monday feature, so I think that will help curb some of your appetite for DIY projects. I'm also going to try to get more guest posts and try to find time to do some projects myself to show you.
Most people said they preferred to see the Real Weddings on Wednesday (need to have something to get you through the rest of the week), so I'm going to keep featuring them on that day. I'm planning on trying to get my new layout to allow bigger pictures, so I think a lot of readers will enjoy being able to see that with these features. A good bit of readers said they might send their wedding in to be featured after their event. I would love to see them, so please don't be scared to send them my way!
The majority of your said that you have never used on of the discount codes featured on Thrifty Thursday. Some of you said you did though, so I'm going to keep featuring those. Even if only one person can put a code to use, it makes for the time I spent collecting them. One of my readers commented yesterday about how happy they were with the Picaboo code because they can now get 50% off their wedding album.
60% of the people who responded said they do like blog posts on the weekend. I will try to schedule more posts for these people. I'm not on my computer too much during the weekend because I like to spend time with my husband, but if I can knock some posts out during the week and schedule them to post on those days, I will definitely try!
I definitely take all your comments to heart and I can't wait to implement them into the blog and make it even better for my wonderful readers! Thanks again!
