The FTC now requires all bloggers to disclose when they are receiving some kind of compensation for blogging about their product. I normally try to disclose this in posts, but I'm sure there are times when I have not. Most of my reviews though are just me finding the website and wanting to tell you about it. From now, I will post this little phrase at the bottom of all posts where I am receiving a product or compensation from a company ("This is a compensated/sponsored post"). I will also post this when a company is giving me a product to give to my readers.
So, as a review, I will put the phrase "This is a compensated/sponsored post" at the bottom of all posts that:
- I am receiving money to post
- I am receiving a product to review or in exchange for a post
- I am receiving a product to give away to my readers
